Co-curricular Activities

National Service Scheme

The college has a unit of the National Service Scheme (NSS), which aims at training the student members in the spirit of service and at nation building. The NSS unit functions successfully under the Programme Officer with ample cooperation and support from students and staff.

Nature Club

The Nature Club at the college arranges site visits, trekking and camps in various places to bring the student community closer to nature. The club spreads awareness on the need for preserving the environment and keeping it free from pollution.

Language Club 

A language club  is a places where people go to practice different Languages. We have a Language club in our college. This club offers the students to practice different languages by listening to CD, watch movies on DVD or practice speaking English with friends and teachers.

Red Ribbon Club

A Red Ribbon Club functions in the college campus to make the students aware of the importance of blood donation and also to inform them about various diseases like HIV/AIDS. The membership to the club is open to all and all the NSS volunteers are members of the club.

Arts Club 

The Art Club is a place for practicing artists to hone in on their skills, develop their techniques and portfolios, collaborate with other artists like themselves, create bonds with the community through the arts, and learn how to work together through group projects that will beautify the college and community. 

Sports and Games

Students are encouraged to participate in various games which include Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton etc. The college has all necessary sports gear and an extensive sports ground. All students of the college are expected to take part in the annual sports and games meet.


The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in the college functions smoothly. It encourages the participation and cooperation of the parents and teachers for the welfare of students of the college.
